Since 1988, IREA’s board of directors has awarded grants to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education.
Each year, we award 21 grants (three per director district) of $1,000 each. The grant winners are chosen via a lottery-type drawing, as there are no scholastic requirements. Winners will be drawn at the June 22, 2017, IREA board meeting and notified by June 29, 2017. The winners must be members, or children of members, of the association, and graduating high school seniors in 2017.
All you need to do is fill out the online education grant form and photo consent form/release, attach both the applicant’s photo and a letter of acceptance from a college, university or vocational school, and submit the form by 5 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017.

Printed entry forms must be received at IREA Headquarters by 5 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017, and should be delivered in-person or mailed to IREA Corporate Affairs Department, Education Grant Application, 5496 N.
